Holy Orders

Thus, a man is consecrated to a holy calling when he is ordained as a minister, and this consecration is for the whole church and not just a specific area of service. An individual's ordination in one conference does not follow him to another. Therefore, in our custom, ordination to the ministry in any local conference and the issuance of credentials by the conference is a matter of concern to the entire church. We dedicate and license or confer holy orders upon ministers.
